Neurographica – The Art of Being Present

Mindfulness is the practice of paying deliberate attention to the present moment without judgment. It can be described as “the art of being present.”

Neurographica is a method uniquely positioned to help you practice mindfulness because it combines drawing and psychology in a way that promotes self-awareness, emotional release, and problem-solving. Here’s how it works:

  • Mindful Focus: The act of drawing itself requires focus and attention to the present moment. As you create lines, shapes, and patterns, you engage your senses and become fully immersed in the process, similar to meditation. This can help quiet the mind and bring a sense of calm.
  • Problem-Solving: Neurographica is a goal-oriented visual thinking practice that encourages you to overcome challenges and answer questions by using lines and shapes in your drawing. By transforming these elements through following Neurographicas’ seven-step algorithm process, you engage your brain in finding creative solutions, which can translate to problem-solving skills in real-life situations.
  • Emotional Expression: The free-flowing nature of Neurographica allows emotions to surface and be expressed visually. As you draw, you might notice patterns or colors that reflect your current emotional state. This can help you become more aware of your feelings and provide a healthy outlet for them.
  • Neural Pathway Stimulation: The combination of art and psychology in Neurographica is believed to stimulate new neural pathways in the brain, also called neuroplasticity. This can lead to increased creativity, improved cognitive function, and a greater sense of well-being.
  • Self-Discovery: The process of creating a Neurographic drawing reveals insights about yourself and your subconscious mind. As you explore your thoughts and feelings through art, you will uncover new understandings or perspectives that will lead to personal growth and spiritual transformation.

Neurographica is a breakthrough modality that offers a unique way to practice mindfulness by combining creative expression with psychological awareness. It’s an invaluable tool for managing stress, enhancing self-awareness, and fostering personal and spiritual growth.

I offer a series of classes that introduce you to the magic of Neurographica and give you the tools you need to start practicing it yourself. I recommend starting with an extended foundational class offered on Fridays, followed by four shorter classes once you’ve mastered the basics. The learning doesn’t stop there. Afterward, you will have access to free weekly hangouts where we follow your progress and discuss each other’s drawings. Please get in touch with me if you have any questions or attend one of the free “Open Houses” offered during the week.
