The Phoenix brought us unexpected, edgy energy, and I was happy to welcome it. Birthing something may be messy and chaotic, allowing the fire within us to forge a new, shining shape.
I learned that renewal and rebirth are always available. Can I release the pull of the old and surrender into the infinitely creative chaos of NOW? Releasing the control, we enable the birth of something genuinely new.
The Phoenix is within each one of us right now.

I am attaching my finished Phoenix drawing. It gained energy as I kept going and exploded onto the page. Some intersections are not rounded, and some lines are glaringly straight, but I am happy to accept this gift as it is: a diagnostic film of my inner being.
